In April 2008, IWS completed construction of a wastewater treatment facility for the Cane Creek Motor Coach Resort in northwest South Carolina. This was the first commercial AdvanTex treatment system constructed in this region of South Carolina.
The AdvanTex treatment system was designed to handle 7,500 gallons per day. The system will re-use effluent by irrigating an adjacent field using spray irrigation. Treatment system components:
- Three AX-100 Treatment Units
- 10,000 Gallon Recirculation Tank
- 5,000 Gallon Wet Well
- Retention Pond
During the engineering process, IWS provided constructability analysis and materials selection that reduced the cost of the treatment system by more than twenty percent.
