Rick Barrett has nearly three decades of experience in infrastructure services. Fourteen years within the world’s largest building materials company, Irish-based CRH plc, and 15 years leading Private Equity owned businesses as COO and CEO.
He is a former Fortune 500 manager turned private equity CEO with a record of growing industrial service companies in the energy, communications, and construction markets. Mr. Barrett is skilled at transitioning founder-led businesses to PE-backed high-growth by following a proven approach to people, processes, and systems. Adept at raising capital and executing M&A, having worked for two of the nation’s leading infrastructure consolidators, CRH plc and Blackstone-sponsored Summit Materials.
He holds a BA in Political Science from Plymouth State University as well as a Master’s of Business Administration from Norwich University. He was also part of the Executive Leadership Program at Cornell University.
In his free time, Rick enjoys spending time in Colorado outdoors and is an avid backcountry skier and mountain biker.
