Integrated Water Services, Inc. (IWS) successfully completed the design, construction, and start-up of a new wastewater treatment plant for the Lerin Hills Subdivision in Kendall County, Texas. This facility was engineered to handle flows up to 110,000 gallons per day, with start-up turndown capacity of 11,000 gallons per day. Upon completion, the plant was transferred to the Lerin Hills Utility District for ownership and operation, serving the subdivision’s residents.

Key components of the treatment system include:
These units work together to achieve efficient nutrient and organic matter removal, essential for water quality improvement. Additionally, sedimentation tanks and sludge treatment systems ensure compliance with environmental standards, while minimizing the environmental impact of the operation.
In addition to site improvements and the concrete pad, IWS oversaw the start-up of the treatment facility, collaborating closely with Ashbrook Corporation to ensure seamless operation. The project highlights IWS’s commitment to renewable energy and innovative treatment solutions for wastewater treatment facilities.
Abel Godines, the owner’s representative for LH Devco, Inc. was pleased with the project. “IWS really made this a smooth project, from working with the site civil engineer and completing the design, to constructing the system, and then doing the start-up. This was a complex project and needed creative thinking to provide a solution for the budget we had. IWS added value to the project and I would highly recommend them for future projects.”
