We need to upgrade but is there any way to use any of our existing components?
As part of the Design-Build or value engineering process, IWS will evaluate the existing infrastructure and treatment system components to determine what may be utilized in the upgraded treatment system. IWS has executed a number of design-build projects whereby we utilized existing tankage and other owner infrastructure to reduce the cost of the treatment system.
IWS doesn’t just look at the treatment system configuration but will also look at the overall site infrastructure to see what can be utilized. We bring our sustainable design approach not just to how water or wastewater is treated and utilized, but also how it fits into the overall project configuration.
