Superintendent
Seeking experienced Superintendent’s to manage projects in Colorado and the Western US. Qualified candidates will offer 5 – 10 years of water/wastewater and or civil construction experience. Working with an experienced Project Manager, candidates must be capable of leading a team of experienced company personnel to execute treatment system construction projects from contract inception to closeout.
Proven comprehensive understanding and a working knowledge of construction documents including construction specifications, detailed construction drawings, and soils report. Must be able to read, understand, sequence, and schedule all construction activities including: field material and quantity takeoffs, material procurement and ordering, implementing health safety, storm water management, planning and scheduling labor and equipment utilization, equipment maintenance, scheduling and managing subcontractors, maintaining construction schedules, provide daily reports, maintaining as built drawings, and layout.
Must have extensive, broad, hands on experience in completing self-performed projects including excavation, layout and grade verification, shoring, tank installation, trenching and piping, concrete, and construction of treatment works. Candidates must have administrative skills to manage field changes, subcontract management, cost and time tracking, scheduling and personnel management. They must be capable of directing all field construction activities.
Seeking candidates to be based in Colorado for projects throughout the state. Opportunities for travel to the Rocky Mountain area, Southwestern US, California, Wyoming, and the Northwestern US is available if interested. Regardless of location, travel is required. Candidates must have water and wastewater treatment, and/or extensive underground construction experience to be considered.
